Objectives


The Los Alamos Computer Science Institute (LACSI) supports research in computer science areas relevant to the Department of Energy's Advanced Simulation and Computing Program (ASCI).

The Institute concentrates on research with a longer time frame than the operational requirements of the program, yet maintains focus on issues that affect the successful implementation of ASCI's objectives.
