Research and Experience

LANL technical staff member since 1992.
Applied probability and statistical inference with a tendency toward Bayesian methods.
Experience with Markov Chain Monte Carlo, time series, change detection, clustering, classification, density estimation, model selection, and other types of data mining. 
Main application areas: nuclear material assay, measurement error modeling, and safeguards; classical and molecular epidemiology; remote monitoring for nuclear, biological, and chemical threat reduction.
